Job Brief
Our client is a FinTech startup that is building trading platforms. We are looking for a highly experienced Lead Python Engineer to join the team building the product from scratch using the latest technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Produce high-quality code and improve others’ by thoughtful code reviews
- Lead and coordinate releases across multiple teams
- Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, business users, and other engineers
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software
- Play a critical role in determining the technical direction for the team
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in Python and JavaScript
- Experience leading a team
- Experience with cloud technologies
- Experience with build automation tools
- Experience with building APIs and services using REST,
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good command in spoken and written English
- Understanding of cloud-native technologies
- Experience in cloud system development
or cloud-based app dev - General knowledge in Finance
- Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Engineering, Computer Science or another related technical field
