Job Brief
We seek a Lead Engineer / Android to participate in the entire product development cycle, including brainstorming, release planning, and estimation.
Responsibilities:
- Take lead engineer role, reviewing the code of team members, and ensuring the quality
- Excellent communication skills
- Capability to convert technical specifications into working code.
- Ability to work with the customer in evolving the functional and technological maturity of Android apps
- Troubleshooting, testing, and maintaining the core product software and databases to ensure strong
- Application of modern agile-based development process including TDD based unit testing
- Develop and design Android applications as per desired specifications
Skills and Experience
- Deep understanding of the Swift and knowledge of protocol-oriented programming
- Expertise using Kotlin and Android Jetpack components like view model, live data, room,
- Understanding of MVC and MVVM design patterns
- Experience in publishing app to play store
- Deep knowledge of different Android versions and upgrading codebase to support new OS versions.
- Excellent understanding of offline storage, database handling, threading, and performance tuning
- Generating and updating prototypes from UI concepts for testing and team feedback
- Ability to integrate a variety of data sources and databases into a single system.
